Season 1 – Episode 1

The opening scene of Season 1 portrays everything we thought was special about Battle of the Bow. The thrill of the hunt. The excitement that followed the shot. The camaraderie between cameraman and hunter. Andrew Dittman summed it all up for us in the first 10 seconds after downing his buck in the opening scene of the Series.

In this Episode, 10 teams discuss what hunting means to them, why they signed up for the show, and what they expect in the upcoming Wisconsin bowhunting season. We get an understanding of the contest, the process of filming a hunt and end with a great early season Wisconsin bow hunt in Western Wisconsin.

Battle of the Bow Episode 01 wraps up with Mark Brunner and Jared Melstrom (BOTB show crew members) venture out on opening day to take a deer out of Jared’s food plot. It was the first time they have tried to film a hunt together.
